MusicThe rumors first surfaced at the beginning of January, but now there is finally confirmation. S Club 7 does have plans for a reunion tour. The members themselves announced this during ‘The One Show’.
“After an eight-year break, it feels great to announce that we will soon be back on stage together,” it said. “We are very much looking forward to celebrating the 25th anniversary of S Club 7 with our fans.” Tickets for the tour go on sale from Friday, February 17. A total of eleven shows are scheduled in both the UK and Ireland. “We hope to make it a big party!”
4 number one hits
During ‘The One Show’, the group also made it clear that it felt right to announce a reunion tour now. Whether the group members will return to their old outfits remains to be seen. Although they say they are ready to “sing their lungs out” on stage. The song they are looking forward to the most is their well-known single ‘Reach for the Stars’.
Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett were very popular in the nineties. The sevensome put on a total of four number one hits, including ‘Never Had A Dream Come True’, and a successful album.
