The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia witnessed a noticeable increase in the rate of new infections with the Coronavirus, during the previous days, which prompted officials to stress repeatedly the need to adhere to preventive measures to limit the spread of infection.
For his part, the Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced that the authorities had re-tightened precautions and precautionary measures, in addition to taking health supplies, increasing the number of intensive care beds to 13,000 beds, in addition to providing more than 230 clinics to examine Corona.
On the provision of vaccines in the Kingdom, the Saudi minister stressed, during his address to the recipient of the 20th Hajj and Umrah research, that the ministry is endeavoring to provide several vaccines for the Corona virus from various sources in large quantities during the next few period.
He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries in the world to start the vaccination campaign, after obtaining doses of the “Pfizer-Biontech” vaccine on December 17 of last year.
