After the G7 Salute, a street parade to take back Ancona

(ANSA) – ANCONA, 12 OCTOBER – After the end of the G7 Health meeting in Ancona yesterday, a demonstration with floats, music and dance to “take back the city” which will end in the evening at the Mandracchio fishing port in front of the Mole Vanvitelliana, place of the meeting between the seven ministers. The procession called “Street Parade – Smash repression”, always manned by the police, started around 4.30pm from the Tavernelle district and will arrive in the evening in front of the Mole where the demonstrators will remain until around 3am. The initiative called for Ancona over 500 people. The demonstration, promoted by the NoG7 Action Network, is still ongoing and is continuing in a peaceful manner: symbolically it wanted to sanction the liberation of the city after the restrictions on traffic and passage in some areas arranged for the security of the summit. The large snake, after various long stops along the way, amidst music, dances and choirs, is still found in Corso Carlo Alberto. Yesterday a couple of thousand people marched, in this case through the most central streets of Ancona for the NoG7 Not on my body campaign. Today, an encore procession on various themes expressed in placards and banners displayed on the means of transport: “you 7…we 7,000,000,000″, the writing on a banner”, “Dance like a burning prison” and again “capitalism seriously harms to health No G7”.
