Early time for Thursday’s (September 26) round of 32 match Polish Cup was not an obstacle to filling the intimate stadium in Nowy Staw with a full audience. However, it is not often that a club such as ŁKS Łódź. The opportunity for a sports confrontation was a cup match between teams that are divided into three levels of league competition.

Interestingly, at the beginning of the match it was not visible at all. Yes, ŁKS players had the ball more often, but they were unable to prove their advantage with a goal. Football players Gromu Nowy Staw however, they played wisely defensively, occasionally using the space for counter-attacks. They were ineffective, so the first half ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, Grom defended successfully until the 83rd minute, when the Spaniard Andrew Arasa he took advantage of the lack of concentration and strength of Grom’s defenders and scored the first goal for ŁKS. In added time, the same player gave the guests a second goal and advancement to the second round, i.e. the 1/16 final of the Polish Cup.
Grom, however, does not have to be ashamed of this match. On the contrary, he showed himself very well, playing bravely and at the same time sensibly.
