From Wednesday, authorized resellers will start accepting pre-orders. The first copies should reach customers in the spring of next year.

As with other models, Škoda has decided not to offer the very basic Active variant on the Czech market. On the contrary, with the pair of Exclusive versions, it is heading upwards.

“Customers prefer better equipped cars,” says Jiří Maláček, head of the Czech representation, stating that from September 2020 to September 2021, almost 47% of customers opted for the Style variant.

Another fifth chose the Sportline equipment level, followed by the Ambition level for customers with almost a 15% share. Not even two percent of customers opted for the basic Active or pseudo-terrain Scout.

So the default is the degree Ambition. With a liter-supercharged three-cylinder with an output of 81 kilowatts, 110 hp, it starts at a price 638 900 CZK including VAT.

The Active variant previously pushed the lowest karoq price to CZK 530,900, which is 108 thousand crowns less. However, the carmaker values the additional equipment of the Ambition version, which the Active variant did not offer, at 116,900 crowns.

Basic equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, LED headlights and LED taillights with animated turn signals and welcome effect, push-button start, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, 8-inch infotainment with digital assistant Laura and electrically folding mirrors with heating.

Specifications Style from 663,900 CZK adds larger wheels, a more pronounced roof spoiler in the color of the car, headlight washers, choice of driving mode, heated front seats, washers and steering wheel, keyless locking and starting or inserted woven carpets.

A novelty is the variant Style Exclusive. The range of engines then starts with the four-cylinder 1.5 TSI with an output of 110 kW, 150 hp.

For at least CZK 823,900, this level includes chrome window moldings, decorative sill moldings, adaptive chassis, Matrix-LED headlights with remote ambient coverage, parking sensors at the front and rear parking camera, heated windshield, 10.25-inch virtual cockpit or Amundsen infotainment with navigation, including online services for 3 years.

While the adventurous version of the Scout is no longer available after the facelift, it looks sporty Sportline remains. It starts at CZK 763,900, it differs from the traditionally glossy black body elements, different appearance of the wheels or details in the interior.

It is a novelty again Sportline Exclusive. From CZK 838,900 compared to Sportline, it also includes three-zone air conditioning and a top-of-the-line Columbus infotainment system with a 9.2-inch display.
