“After the elections there is a very clear reading, the Salvadoran people did not support the opposition. “They are left with three deputies and one mayor,” emphasized the New Ideas parliamentarian.
The deputy president maintained that “it is the Salvadorans who are making the decisions and who have defined the destiny of the opposition.”
The population passed the bill to the opposition, not only for not supporting initiatives in favor of the majorities, they also rejected them for their poor performance when they had a majority, Castro estimated.
