After the crisis in Floreasca, the hospital has a new manager

The Minister of Health, Vlad Voiculescu, appointed a new interim manager at the Floreasca Hospital in the Capital, after the unit went through a crisis last week, due to the fact that the emergency doctors no longer agreed with the former director Sorin Paun.

It is about the surgeon Claudiu Stefan Turculet. “Mr. Turculet is a primary surgeon and also led this hospital unit in 2006 and 2009. The scandal in Floreasca started last Wednesday, when 17 of the 31 primary doctors and specialists from the Emergency Reception Unit (UPU) Floreasca have resigned on the grounds that they no longer get along with the manager of the hospital Sorin Pana, accused of behaving abusively and that because of him the unit was left without drugs, and in the evening they took place discussions with the Minister of Health Vlad Voiculescu.
