Karl Kracht’s family still can’t believe it. But nurses and doctors at the hospital in Lohr (district Main-Spessart) now have it in writing from the Würzburg public prosecutor’s office: You don’t have to be accused of being culpable for the death of the 78-year-old. Karl Kracht was in December 2020 contracted Covid-19 and died as a result of the infection. His son then openly expressed the suspicion that the clinic in Lohr was responsible for his death because his father had been infected there. Würzburg investigators searched for clues in months of research.
