FC Sheriff accounted for one of the biggest bangs in Champions League history ever on Tuesday when Real Madrid were defeated 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu. Wild scenes of joy took place at the final signal, and off the field the celebration could not wait either.
After the match, the Moldovan club “celebrated” the triumph by, among other things, publishing a picture of its club emblem with the classic Real Madrid crown on it – which some considered a mockery of the Spanish big club.
“No comments,” the Sheriff wrote in the post, followed by two royal crowns.
The post was quickly filled with likes and comments.
“Shamelessly”, comments one person – while there were opposing fans of Real Madrid who praised the post.
FC Sheriff tops their Champions League group after two rounds played with six recorded points.
This season is being streamed all matches from the Uefa Champions League at Telia and C More.
