TRIBUNMADURA.COM, LAMONGAN – The transmission of Covid-19 occurred in Sumurgenuk Village, Babat District, Lamongan Regency, allegedly after a celebration event in Bojonegoro Regency.
20 Lamongan residents are reactive to Covid-19 after examination of antigen swab test and tracing.
14 of them are self-isolating at home, 4 are isolated in hospital and 2 have died.
Head of Sumurgenuk Village, Supaat said, two weeks ago there were residents who attended a celebration in Bojonegoro.
Then, the village Covid-19 Task Force immediately carried out an antigen swab test.
“Then dozens of reactive residents were found,” Supaat told reporters, Tuesday (22/6/2021).
As of June 9 to 21, Supaat continued, there were 14 people who were in self-isolation at home, 4 people were undergoing treatment at the hospital and 2 people died. This case, explained Supaat, began when there were 2 residents who experienced symptoms and were swab.
“After these 2 residents, we from the village then moved quickly by tracing and distributing antigen swabs to residents who took part in this celebration event,” he said.
Residents who undergo self-isolation, said Supaat, all of their needs are met by the village, including getting basic necessities, milk and vitamins for the residents’ needs during self-isolation.
