Most recently on Wednesday morning, the midfielder trained with a ball together with a personal trainer at the facility on the Danish island of Fyn.
– We are very happy that Christian Eriksen is currently keeping in shape on our plans, says OB’s sports director Michael Hemmingsen to the Danish newspaper BT.
Eriksen played in Odense as a junior in the years 2005–2008.
– We have kept in touch with Christian since he left OB. Therefore, we are happy that he asked us if he could rehab at Ådalen.
The 29-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest in Denmark’s European Championship premiere against Finland at the Park in Copenhagen on 12 June. He has not yet commented on the future of his football career.
Because Christian Eriksen has had a defibrillator, defibrillator, implanted since last summer, he is no longer allowed to play in the Italian league Serie A. Eriksen’s current club Inter, with which he has a contract until June 2024, has opened to sell him.
“Even if the current circumstances prevent him from meeting the requirements set in Italy, he can do so in other countries where he can continue his competitive career,” Inter wrote in a statement according to several media.
The super league team OB, which is coached by Andreas Alm, is in ninth place in the Danish league after 17 rounds played.
