Because of shooting with a snowball: Masked men beat up a student in Sofia
According to him, he stopped the car and saw two boys running in the opposite direction. “I immediately turned the car around and caught up with them. I asked them what was going on, and one of them swung as if he was going to hit me and said he was joking.” Tsvetomir emphasizes that it is slapped twice but didn’t break any fingers of the student.
His brother Plamen pointed out that while he was running, the eighth-grader fell. He assumed that was when the boy broke his fingers.
“The injured boy told the pedagogic advisor at the school that while returning with a friend from a grocery store, they fought with snowballs. One of them hit the car. The young man said that he had severe pain in his left hand. I have contacted the hospital and the Ministry of the Interior so that an examination can be carried out and to find out what happened. The boy’s hand is plastered – the two fingers – the fourth and fifth have a broken phalanx each,” said Mila Mancheva, director of “Hristo Yasenov” Secondary School, Etropole.
She emphasized that the student told her that he did not provoke the aggression in any way. “His exact account was: ‘They kicked me with boots. They were wearing hooded anoraks. I couldn’t see who they were. I didn’t even see the car because I was scared.”
The two young men who are suspected of the beating, categorically they denied being masked or kicking the victim. “This is complete bullshit. There are cameras and you can see everything. We didn’t even wear hats. I don’t disguise myself while driving. I didn’t go to war. I didn’t kick anyone. I only slapped him twice”, pointed out Tsvetomir.
