After the artist’s distress… a surprise behind the “kidnapping” of Menna Fadali’s assistant

A few hours after the Egyptian actress, Menna Fadali, announced the disappearance of her assistant, her abduction, and the loss of contact with her, the Egyptian security services revealed many details that removed the ambiguity about the incident.

And the security services revealed that the artist’s assistant was arrested and imprisoned in the Gamaleya Police Station, west of Cairo, on charges of stealing gold artifacts.

Security investigations indicated that the accused stole the artist, Dina El-Sherbiny, in cooperation with her sister, who was working as an assistant to the artist, Dina, noting that she was seized while selling gold artifacts of “unknown source” in one of the goldsmiths’ shops in the Jamalia Police Department.

The security services stated that, in confronting the accused, she admitted that she had obtained the jewelry as a result of a theft by negligence from the artist, Dina El-Sherbiny.

And the security services had monitored the circulation of a post accompanied by a picture of a woman on the account of the artist, Menna Fadali, on the social networking site “Facebook”, which included her seeking help for the disappearance of her assistant and her exposure to a kidnapping.

And the security services stated that by examining and conducting investigations, it was possible to identify the owner of the photo, and it was found that she is a housewife residing in the Zawia Al-Hamra Police Department in Cairo, adding that on January 20, she was seized for offering stolen gold artifacts for sale and was imprisoned in connection with a theft case.

The accused was also referred to the Public Prosecution Office, which conducted the investigation.
