After the most controversial Star Wars series Star Wars – The Acolyte recently on Disney+ ended, the streaming provider now also directly announced the eagerly awaited release date for Star Wars – Skeleton Crewthe next project from a galaxy far, far away. The date was announced together with first photos of Jude Laws Character Jod Na Nawood and the young lead actors announced.
The upcoming sci-fi series from Lucasfilmwhich takes place in the same timeline as the first season of Star Wars – The Mandalorian plays, sounds from the official synopsis like a kind of Star Wars meets Die Goonies. The series takes place years before the events of Star Wars – Ahsoka and after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
According to the official synopsis, the new Star Wars series is about four children who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet. This leads them into a strange and mysterious galaxy full of adventure. On their search for the way home, they meet unexpected allies and dangerous enemies.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew should be in December suitable for the pre-Christmas season on Disney+ celebrate its premiere. The series was created by Jon Watts and the screenwriter Christopher Fordwho previously worked together on Spider-Man – Homecoming worked, created and produced.
