SHAFTS – Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, stating his right arm took a year to get back to normal. Marquez made this statement after achieving positive results in the 2021 Dutch MotoGP race.

Marquez is still having problems with his broken right arm during the 2020 Spanish MotoGP race. Since returning to the race, from the Portugal series to the Netherlands, Marquez has struggled with pain in his right arm.

The problem has increased because Marquez’s right shoulder has been sore since the 2021 Italian MotoGP. Even so, Marquez is still struggling in the race.

This is natural because Assen Circuit, which has more corners to the right, is not in Marquez’s favor. Meanwhile, the Sachsenring Circuit has more left corners, making it easier for Marquez to race.

After finishing the race at the Assen Circuit, Marquez has time to rest for a month in the summer of 2021. It is important for Marquez to be better prepared in the second half of the 2021 MotoGP.

“It’s true, the doctors have warned me all the time, that this is not a one month process, it is a one year process, I need patience. My arm needs to adjust, these are things I can’t wait for and want to do in a short amount of time,” Marquez said. Motosan, Monday (28/6/2021).

“My body needs time, so the assessment is positive, it could have been done better, of course, and to avoid some accidents, but a lot of them (pain) are also caused by bad riding position,” he said.

After the summer vacation is over, Marquez has been waiting for the 2021 Styria MotoGP race. The 10th series race will take place at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Austria, Sunday 8 August 2021.
