Doctors shared a statement: “Comedian Jay Leno was released today from the Grossman Burn Center after a 10-day stay at the facility, and Jay will receive follow-up outpatient care for burns to his face, chest and hands. which he received during a fire in his garage “He is grateful for the care he has received and greatly appreciates all the well wishes. He looks forward to spending Thanksgiving with his family and his friends and wishes everyone a wonderful holiday.”
His doctor, Dr. Peter Grossman, added in the statement: “I am pleased with Jay’s progress and am optimistic he will make a full recovery.”
Leno’s treatment includes a surgical excision and graft procedure, which removes unhealthy tissue in an effort to promote wound healing and reduce the risk of infection.
