Gold prices stabilized during today’s trading, Saturday, at yesterday’s prices.
Naguib Club, former general secretary of the Gold Merchants Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-carat gram of gold settled today at 750 pounds per gram, which is yesterday’s price.
Naguib added that the price of a gram of 18-carat gold was about 642.9 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was 857 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold was about 6000 pounds.
Gold prices rose by 0.18% at the end of yesterday’s trading.
According to Bloomberg data, an ounce of gold reached 1700.6 dollars, ending the week on a positive note.
Today and tomorrow is an official holiday in global stock exchanges.
