In a hitherto unresolved case of serious child sexual abuse, the Offenbach criminal police are now approaching the population with a phantom image and asking them to help them find the perpetrator, who is still anonymous. Since the investigation has so far been unsuccessful, the investigators are now taking the next step by publishing the picture.
The act already occurred on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, not far from the Schultheis pond. The victim, a 13-year-old boy, was skating in the Bürgel area that day. On the way home in the direction of Fechenheim, the 13-year-old was approached between 3 and 4 p.m. by a 40 to 50-year-old man with a strong stature. The approximately 1.70 meter tall perpetrator was already making sexual innuendos. When the boy expressed his rejection, the stranger, described as bald, pulled him into the bushes in the area of the Biegenweg (field path). However, the victim was able to tear himself away quickly and ran home.
At the time of the crime, the tormentor was wearing short black trousers and red underwear, and his upper body was completely bare. He also wore open shoes (possibly sandals) and carried a bag with him.
The investigators, who are active in the case as a regional component within the framework of the Hesse-wide “BAO FOKUS” (special organizational structure for cross-case organizational structure against child pornography and sexual abuse of children), now ask for information about this person under the number 069 / 8098- 1234.
