A car on the side after several rollovers. During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, around 1:15 a.m., it was all screaming sirens that significant resources left the fire station of Audun-le-Tiche. Joined on site by the Smur, they went to the vicinity of Boulange for a particularly serious road accident.
For a reason which remains to be determined, a Peugeot car driving on the D59 abruptly left the road just a few hundred meters from the A30 motorway bridge which overhangs this secondary road. Coming from Ludelange-Tressange, the vehicle then rolled over in the ditch, ending up in the opposite direction of traffic. If the driver, a young man in his twenties, was still in the passenger compartment, this was not the case with his passenger, a 14-year-old girl found outside the vehicle. A second ambulance is called in to help, while the teenager who was in serious condition was taken care of and transported urgently to the Central Hospital of Nancy, her vital prognosis engaged.
If the driver presented only slight injuries, he was transported to Bel-Air hospital for examinations. Also on site, the gendarmes of the Thionville company carried out the usual findings, biological samples were taken and a judicial investigation was opened.
