– The U.S. White House informed its employees of the eviction procedure before President-elect Joe Biden took office, and told them to ignore it.
According to CNN and the Washington Post (WP) on the 23rd (local time), the White House sent an e-mail to all employees the night before informing them of the procedure for leaving the White House before Biden-elect took office. It also contained details such as the eviction schedule starting on the 5th of next month, returning office supplies and organizing supplies.
However, on the morning of that day, he overturned the previous e-mail, saying, “Please ignore the previous message. We will share the updated information within a few days.”
President Donald Trump has less than a month left in his tenure, but has not given up to the election results.
The WP cited a White House official and said that President Trump was disappointed by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary General Mark Mados, who were uncooperative with the presidential election. Recently, President Trump scorned Justice Minister William Barr, who said there was no widespread election fraud.
However, some of Trump’s aides still insist that a special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate allegations of election fraud as well as Biden’s second son, Hunter. The US media reported that President Trump continues to insist on re-election by putting troops into the defeated state.
On the 14th, the national electoral team’s official voting was ended, and on the 6th of next month, the Senate and the House of Representatives will hold a joint meeting to announce the final election of Biden’s president. The inauguration ceremony is held on the 20th.
