The White House said in a phone call with Bennett, Biden highlighted his decades of support for the bilateral relationship and his unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, according to a White House statement.

“Biden also conveyed that his administration intends to cooperate with the Israeli government in efforts to advance peace, security and prosperity for Israel and the Palestinians,” he said, as reported by Xinhua on Monday (14/6/2021).
As is known, the new government was supported by 60 of the 120 members of Parliament, while 59 voted against the formation of the new government. The only MP to abstain was Said al-Harumi, from the pro-Palestinian United Arab List party.
