After Van der Plas, CDA leader Hugo de Jonge will come on Thursday. D66 leader Sigrid Kaag has been invited for Friday’s broadcast, but she has not yet responded. Kaag is regularly criticized in the program, just like Rutte.
In the run-up to the Provincial Council elections on Wednesday, March 15, Mark Rutte announced last week that he wanted to join Inside today. This was followed by a storm of criticism that the program for the VVD leader rolled out the red carpet, but that other politicians were not welcome.
Monday evening Genee, Derksen and Grijp made a turn in their broadcast. Action was taken on Tuesday and both Van der Plas and De Jong were invited. The two politicians agreed. TV critic Angela de Jong is also a guest on Wednesday.
