How TMZ reported that Lopez officially filed for divorce on Tuesday. According to the report, the ex-couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding two years ago. Although Lopez’s divorce petition did not state whether an agreement existed, sources told the celebrity platform that such a document does not exist.

Lopez is said to have waived spousal support in the divorce documents she filed. She asked the judge to deny Affleck spousal support as well.
Without a legal agreement to protect the assets of both parties, any income or assets generated during the marriage remain as “community property,” explains Page Six.
This would mean that both parties can be considered equal owners of property, income or debts – regardless of who bought, acquired or earned what.
It looks like there may be more at stake for Jennifer Lopez if an amicable agreement is not reached.
Lopez starred in several films during their two-year marriage, including “Shotgun Wedding,” “The Mother,” “This Is Me… Now,” and most recently, “Atlas.” She also worked as a producer.
Last year, the singer and actress also launched her own ready-to-drink cocktail brand, Delola. Her net worth is reportedly expected to rise to $400 million in 2024.
Affleck, meanwhile, recently completed production on “The Accountant 2.” The 52-year-old also appeared in “Air” and “Hypnotic” during his time as JLo’s husband and produced “The Instigators.” The film star’s net worth is reportedly lower than Lopez’s at “just” $150 million.
The house that Affleck and Lopez bought last year for around $60 million has reportedly been officially up for sale for a few weeks. It is not known how the ex-couple came to a financial agreement.

Fourth divorce for Lopez, second for Affleck
The singer and actor were married in a wedding ceremony in Georgia in the summer of 2022, just a month after saying “I do” in Las Vegas.
For Lopez it is already the fourth divorce. For Affleck the second.
