After Kylie Jenner’s private jet controversy, study shows she has nothing against Taylor Swift

Kylie Jenner has been taking some heat off fans lately after posting one Instagram photo showing her and boyfriend Travis Scott’s private jets. Criticism about what their plane use means for the environment is nothing new for the reality TV family – Kourtney Kardashian faced the same backlash earlier this year — but it inspired a deeper look at which celebrities are most to blame for spewing carbon emissions into the atmosphere. Turns out, the beauty entrepreneur didn’t even crack the top 10 in the list of worst offenders, and it was none other than Taylor Swift who caused the most damage, using her two planes.

After backlash from posting youngest Kar Jenner sister — and Kylie Jenner’s subsequent trip to Target to possibly seem more relatable – the sustainability marketing company Hof decided to investigate which celebrity private jets have flown the most and thus emitted the most carbon dioxide so far this year. Taylor Swift was by far the worst offender. The study reports that in 2022 through July 19, its jets were airborne 170 times for a total of 22,923 minutes and 8,293.54 tons of flight emissions.

How Does Taylor Swift’s Jet Usage Compare to Other Celebrities?

To put over 8,293 tons of carbon dioxide into perspective, Yard estimates that the average person creates a carbon footprint of 7 tons over the course of a year. The Offender #2 in Yard’s study — Floyd Mayweather — has ejected 7,076.8 tons through July 19. The boxing legend is said to be operating an average of 25 flights per month this year for a total of 177 flights, with the shortest flight lasting just 10 minutes.

Kylie Jenner’s activity might not compare to Taylor Swift and Floyd Mayweather, but her boyfriend Travis Scott was #10 on yards list. (I guess we now know the answer to Jenner’s question, “Should we use mine or yours?”) The rapper’s 8,384 minutes of flight time accounted for 3,033.3 tons of emissions, with his average flight time just 7.31 minutes.

Kylie Jenner wasn’t the worst offender in her family

Even without her boyfriend, Kylie Jenner wasn’t the worst offender in the Kar Jenner clan. Kim Kardashian accepts this honor as she recorded 4,268.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions on 57 flights this year, ranking 7th on the list. Hulu subscribers got the complete kim air tour Die Kardashiansas she showed off such amenities as the cashmere upholstery and custom blond wood.

Who else made the list of worst carbon emissions?

Other celebrities enjoying life by traveling frequently on private planes include Jay-Z, A-Rod, Blake Shelton, Steven Spielberg, Mark Wahlberg and Oprah. No big surprises there, though afterwards Gwen Stefani described her husband’s “disgusting” truck As a full-on “totally tough man,” I’d be interested to see what his bougie side is like.

Will the results of this study take the pressure off certain billionaire makeup moguls and put more of the spotlight on jet-setting pop stars? Shouldn’t we be planning when to get a tour of Kylie Jenner’s jet Die Kardashians returns to Hulu on September 22nd? Be sure to check out ours TV program 2022 to see what premieres are coming soon.
