A new era is about to begin
After the completion of the recent saga Avengers Multiverse by Jason AaronMarvel Comics is about to reshape (once again) its universe. Jed MacKay et CF Villa will usher in a new era for Marvel superheroes. To accompany these substantive changes, the editorial line of Marvel Studios has just found a new leader to the Avengers.
In effect, Carole Danvers, alias Captain Marvel was chosen by Marvel Comics to take on the role of leader of the Avengers. She will lead a team of Earth’s greatest heroes. While she was already a member of the Avengers in Jason Aaron’s arc, she therefore obtains a sacred promotion for the continuation of the Marvel Comics adventures. For the occasion, she will lead heroes like Thor, Iron Man, Captain America (Sam Wilson) et Black Panther. The list will also include the couple The Scarlet Witch and Vision.
A new leader for new dangers
Captain Marvel will therefore lead this ultra-powerful team against cosmic threats dangerous enough to destroy the planet. In particular, it will oppose Terminus.
