Cardiologist from Heartology Brawijaya, Dr dr Dafsah Arifa Juzar, Sp.JP (K) explained, the success or durability of the ring installation depends on the final result of the procedure, whether optimal or not.

Patients who wear the ring must always control various risk factors. For example, if you have a disease such as diabetes or high blood pressure, it is advisable to check it regularly or take medication regularly.
Dr. Dafsah said, there is no limit on the maximum number of rings that can be used on the heart. However, if the blockage is too much, the doctor may suggest bypass surgery to give new blood vessels.
Patients who use the ring are also allowed to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. As long as the risk factors are controlled, the patient is allowed to vaccinate and take heart medication as usual.
A heart attack is something we have to anticipate. Both women and men, both have high risk factors. However, in women there are no typical symptoms. Whereas in men, symptoms are characterized by complaints of shortness of breath and heartburn.
To maintain a healthy heart after the installation of the ring, Dr. Dafsah advises to keep exercising regularly. However, if the patient is recovering from heart disease, further supervision is needed while exercising.
