After images appeared on social media on Sunday evening where Lil Kleine (27) would have mistreated his girlfriend Jaimie Vaes (32), singer Anouk now turns to his girlfriend. “Regain your freedom after years of suffering through mental and physical abuse,” it sounds.

Lil Kleine, computer says: bullshit excuse to avoid problems in 3, 2, 1…” The message on Instagram from Anouk is clear: she will not believe it if Lil Kleine would come with an apology. The rapper came under fire – again – after images emerged from surveillance cameras on Sunday evening. It showed how Lil Kleine violently drags his girlfriend Jaimie Vaes out of a car.

Arrested
On Sunday evening, the relevant images circulated on Instagram, which would show that Lil Kleine roughly tackles his fiancée. Insiders confirmed to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that the rapper was arrested that same evening for assault. Although a police spokesperson wanted to confirm on Sunday that a “27-year-old man has been arrested”, they did not want to make any statements about personal details to the newspaper on Monday morning.
The rapper’s management has indicated that it will come up with a statement later. His lawyer, Nienke Hoogervorst, confirmed to De Telegraaf on Monday that he is still in custody.
