It didn’t take long for Zion Williamson to worry about his health during the preseason. When asked on the subject, the interior of New Orleans, however, didn’t go there for four routes. It may be reassuring, but let’s stay on guard with him …
As we know, the health of Sion Williamson it will be examined very closely during the next season. The inside of the Pelicans is coming out of a white year and going back to the infirmary for a long time would be a real blow to the player. He may have worked a lot on his physique, but this is not enough to exclude all risks … We also had proof of it during the pre-season, since he already had to leave due to injury during the match against the Heat.
Given that the physical glitch in question is localized to the ankle, there was therefore cause for serious concern as the big man’s joints have been severely tested in recent months (his absence in 2021-22 was due to a fracture from foot stress). But according to the former Dukie himself, there’s not necessarily enough to panic too much. Indeed, he even allowed himself a small joke in front of the media:
Zion reassures about his health
“Twitter has already done its homework … Apparently I’m the doctor, but I’m straight.” 😅

You know, everything has already been decided on Twitter. Apparently they are the real doctors … but it’s okay, really.
Clearly, the one who averaged over 27 points and 7 rebounds during his last full season would feel pretty good, despite the momentary discomfort. He bodes well for NOLA fans … at least on paper.
Because in the end we cannot help but remain cautious in the case of the former draft number 1. In three years he has played just over 80 games and given his resume, the slightest problem can be tragic. Internet users were hardly convinced by the superstar’s press conference, and fear that she is taking the same path as other big names, certainly talented, but whose careers have been damaged by injuries:

Zion Williamson assures him that there is no need to worry more about his little ankle injury. We imagine that the Pelicans staff don’t take him lightly and that the doctors will go to great lengths to make sure he is no longer bothered by this glitch as soon as possible.
