At first she shone in SuperStar, now in the show Your face has a familiar voice. However, only 18-year-old talented Nikita Machytková had to cope with the death of her mother at such an early age. But with the departure of love from her mother, she found a partner. In SuperStar, she got together with one of the dancers, who is now her biggest support.
At a time when Nikita Machytková was to enjoy her journey through the SuperStar competition, she was solving much more serious problems. Her mother was suffering from a serious illness. Her breast cancer returned, and she succumbed. “I knew it was inevitable. At the same time, it was a bit of a liberation for her because of the pain,” says Machytková.
In the SuperStar, Nikita fought her way to the final, where she decided to withdraw from the competition in the first round. “I wanted to be with her in those last moments. It was an opportunity and I don’t know where I was going, but I certainly don’t regret that I did it because my mother was more important than SuperStar to me,” the young singer explains her decision.
She spent the last moment with her mother singing to her. “She really liked my singing, so it was nice that I could make her happy in the end,” recalls Nikita, who was left without both parents at the age of 17. Her father lives in London and they are not in contact.
“My aunt supports me a lot, and especially my friend. I have to say that he came at a very wonderful time, because he held me a lot. I met him in SuperStar. He danced there in the finals to Nikolas Bitkovsky,” says the enthusiastic Machytková, who has three-month relationship with the dancer a great joy.
An offer to perform in Your Face Has a Known Voice also came to her career. But her mother didn’t have time to see her there. “My mother then told me that even if she was no longer here, I would have some life again and I would be able to devote myself to something I enjoyed. I took the offer thanks to her,” adds Machytková.
At least the participants of the Face create a new family for Nikita. “They advise me a lot and they are very nice to me. Monika Absolonová is my mom there. They took me under their wings. It is my second home now,” the singer concludes.
