After hard fist fights – the DIF player is reported to the disciplinary committee

It was with one second left of the first period that Djurgården’s new first center Peter Holland ended up in a rift with Luleåbacken Fredrik Styrman.

Djurgården was in that position below, 0-3, and had a powerplay with the opportunity to get back into the match against Luleå.

But then it ran over for Peter Holland.

Peter Holland received a match penalty for the incident and Fredrik Styrman escaped with a two-minute suspension for roughing.

On Friday morning, SHL announced on its website that Holland has been reported to the disciplinary committee and risks suspension for its action.

“There is one second left of the first period and the goalkeeper blocks the puck in Luleå’s defensive zone. Luleå player no. 2 Fredrik Styrman hands out a crosschecking in the side of Djurgård player no. 67 Peter Holland who throws off both his gloves. Holland pulls off Styrman’s helmet and deals a blow to the head and then changes hands and strikes a hard blow straight in Styrman’s face. Holland hits Styrman on the head when Styrman is on his way down on the ice and when Styrman is on the ice, Holland deals another blow ”:
