An American photographer who managed to attract thousands of followers in a few months recently revealed that all his photos are “fake” and unreal.
Gus Avery said that all the photos he shared with his followers, who numbered about 29,000 to date, were made by artificial intelligence programs and Photoshop.
When you visit the “Joss” page, you will see that he gave each character a name, and he also wrote a “touching” short story about it.
And when Joss’s followers knew that his photos were “fake”, they poured negative comments on him, indicating that he had managed to deceive them with his publications, and one of them said: “Stop it, you are misleading people and deceiving them.”
While another commented: “I see that your photos are great, but you should have made it clear from the beginning that the characters on your page are fake and not real.”
On the other hand, a large number of Joss’s followers saw him as a distinguished artist who deserved success for his special skills in editing programs and his talent for writing stories.
One commenter wrote: “Amazing picture, beautiful stories.”
Joss explained to one of his followers on Instagram: “At first my goal was to trick people into displaying my AI capabilities and my storytelling talent, but now these characters are my only artistic outlet. I’ve changed my mind.”
