WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA — The leader of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang, completed his examination at the Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, on Monday (3/7/2023) evening.
The Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro, said that his party had also held a case regarding the blasphemy case after examining Panji Gumilang.
Now, the status of the case with the reported Panji Gumilang has moved from investigation to investigation.
“After the examination, investigators have carried out the case title. The conclusion of this case title from the investigation was raised to an investigation,” he told reporters, Tuesday (4/7/2023) early morning.
This means that, starting today Tuesday, his party is carrying out investigative efforts.
On the other hand, his party has also examined four witnesses and five experts.

“This is enough for us to believe that there was a criminal act. Next, we will complete the evidence,” he said.
He said Panji Gumilang was asked 26 questions related to the case.
Question material started from the history of Al Zaytun, organizational structure, to several uploaded videos.
“As for the question material regarding the history of Al Zaytun, then the foundation, organizational structure, and then related to several uploaded videos,” said Djuhandani.
Previously, after undergoing an examination at Bareskrim for more than 8 hours, the leader of the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Panji Gumilang, finally left the investigator’s room, Monday (3/7/2023) evening at around 23.00.
Panji Gumilang was questioned regarding the alleged blasphemy of religion which the complainant accused him of.
To reporters who were waiting for him, Panji Gumilang made a statement by starting with greetings in Hebrew.
