British pop singer Robbie Williams (when was his last big hit?) is planning a biopic.
The “Angels” singer doesn’t drink or do drugs these days, but he’s had some wild days. As reported by ‘Mirror’, the singer is now planning a biopic.
The film is also about drugs
Williams himself said of the project, “I’m not afraid to show myself with human qualities that some would see as villainous. Hopefully the story will explain who, what and why I am.”
Director Michael Gracey (made his debut in 2017 with Hugh Jackman’s The Greatest Showman) will also explore his drug addiction. Williams admitted, “It’s a wonderful project for a narcissist because it’s all about me and my life. The film captures the juicy moments before I lost my testosterone.”
Robbie Williams has burned out
After live shows, the former Take That star fell into a deep hole. Speaking recently on retired goalie David Seaman’s podcast Seaman Says, the musician said, “You’re pumping out dopamine, adrenaline… You have these moments that literally feel out of this world. But for every high there’s a low.” The 48-year-old star previously slammed modern pop stars for being “boring” because they don’t do drugs and beat each other up these days.
By the way, Robbie Williams, who is planning a new greatest hits album, finds it “strange” that artists aren’t rock ‘n’ roll like they were in their heyday in the ’90s, when it was all the rage for rock stars to trash the hotel rooms and rival his peers – like he did with his rival Liam Gallagher.
