Diamond-Implanted
Lil Uzi Vert’s new $ 24 million diamond has been the hottest talking point on Twitter since it unveiled it on Wednesday February 3rd. But the forehead implant could prove to be more trouble than it’s worth.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, the platinum rapper showed a photo of the diamond “implanted” with blood dripping from it and admitted the multi-million dollar implant could possibly even cost him his life.
The rapper wrote the following about the bloody photo: “If I don’t take it out the right way, I could die – no, I’m serious.” The photo sparked concern among his fans, one wrote: “Bro, if that’s not sure, you’d better have it taken out. I don’t want to see you dead. “
Lil Uzi quickly calmed his worried fans with a second tweet – this time without the blood. He claimed that everything was back to normal and later added: “I’m really trying to turn myself into a diamond here!”
hazards
A piercing or implant at this point is dangerous. According to an article on the Cultura Colectiva website, “bindi piercing” – sometimes also referred to as “third-eye piercing” – can cause various complications, including serious infections, due to skin and anatomical differences.
“In some cases there may be changes that make the piercing look asymmetrical, and the rejection of the piercing can lead to pain”, it says in the article. “If you’ve already had a piercing, you probably know how your skin reacts to it. Unlike the nose, the lower forehead contains some blood vessels that must not be touched when piercing. “
