After Denying, Taliban Admits Brutal Killing Of Afghan Comedian

KANDAHAR – Group Taliban finally admits to killing the comedian Afghanistan , Fazal Mohammad or Nazar Mohammad alias Khasha Zwan after the video of his brutal murder went viral on social media.

The group previously denied killing the comedian, who also worked as a police officer.

The victim was assigned to the southern Kandahar province but was taken away by the Taliban after returning home about two weeks ago. This was conveyed by a police officer who served with him.

Since last week, a video that has gone viral has shown Mohammad, with his hands tied behind his back and sitting between two men in the car, being slapped repeatedly. Another video shows his body.

In fact, eyewitness reports say the victim was initially dragged from his home before being found slit in the throat.

The Taliban’s acknowledgment of the perpetrators of the brutal killing was conveyed by the group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid on Thursday.

“He is not a comedian, he fought us in several battles. He tried to run away when we detained him, prompting our gunmen to kill him,” Mujahid said.

“He was an active police officer and was responsible for the deaths of many people,” he told AFP which was launched Friday (30/7/2021).
