Many football fans have already feared this: due to the ongoing Corona crisis, Belgium stopped the Pro League football league early. What about the other leagues?
The football stands still. When the ball will roll again in the top European leagues is not yet foreseeable. The Belgian Pro League is the first country to pull the ripcord and end the season.

“There is a risk that possible infections of a player or the player core affect the sporting course of the rest of the competition in an unacceptable way,” said a corresponding message from the league. So ghost games are not an option either.
Club Brugge is Belgian champion
Club Brugge became master prematurely. However, you cannot really be happy there. Do other leagues have similar scenarios? A similar decision is already being discussed, particularly in neighboring Netherlands. There the association KNVB had decided to realize the remaining eight game days by the beginning of August. However, no sporting events are generally allowed there until June 1st.
