After recovering from breast cancer, the Lebanese singer finally returned to her fans, through her last concert in Tunisia, as part of the Valentine’s Day celebrations, and in an exclusive interview with Sky News Arabia, Hayek revealed a lot, as she moved in her conversation between personal life, public life, and her artistic career.

And she adds to Sky News Arabia: “I was the happiest person at the time, and thank God the concert was full of audiences, and the Tunisian people have a place with me, as it was my first artistic success in Tunisia.”
And about her health, Hayek confirmed: “Praise be to God, I am now much better, as I finished undergoing chemotherapy sessions after I underwent examinations and made sure of my health, and I passed the difficult stage, and I hope to God that my condition will always be better, and I am currently preparing new songs and returning to my artistic activity.” “.
Regarding the lesson she learned during the ordeal of the disease, she said: “I learned patience from the experience of illness and it made me accept everything I went through and bear the pain, in addition to my great confidence in God to overcome this crisis and defeat this disease.”
Hayek thanked all the artists who were keen to check on her: “Many people from all over the Arab world, whether I know them personally or not, and thank God I felt the love and support of everyone, both artists and media professionals, and this thing made me strong and helped me overcome the ordeal, and I cannot mention names.” artists so as not to overlook anyone.”
Wig and a psychiatrist
In her interview with Sky News Arabia, Hayek responded about the division of public opinions regarding her appearance with a wig on a television program, as opinions varied between critic and supportive. She says, “My appearance was aimed at raising awareness and for everyone to realize that a breast cancer patient can complete his life and accept the impact of the disease, and that there are solutions if the patient is forced to appear.”
And she continues: “We have the right to enjoy life and take care of our beauty, so I wanted to send a message that life goes on and a person must accept the disease, and be stronger than it, even if he feels pain and suffering, so we must always think positively.”
She also denied going to a psychiatrist during her illness to recover psychologically, saying: “The truth is, I did not think of that step, although I was going through a lot of difficult times when I was weak, but whenever I felt tired, I would resort to prayer, and this thing gave me great strength.”
And when asked if her priorities in her life had changed after her recent crisis, she added: “It has not changed and my interest in my work is still my first priority, and certainly during the period of illness the most important thing was my health, and I do not know if I was affected artistically after my absence for a year from the scene and not producing songs and this It affects my concerts, but I never felt my absence and everyone was by my side and gave me support.
And about her appearance with the Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama recently, and if he will bring them together together, she said: “There is no artwork that brings us together, but it was a chat session and Ragheb was one of the personalities who were always beside me and supported me and he was never far from me by asking him during an illness.”
In another context, Dina Hayek revealed her desire to work in the field of acting, but she refused to disclose the idea of the work that she wants to be her gateway to go into the field of acting, pointing out that she is waiting for the appropriate opportunity to enter this experience.

Hayek talked about her personal life, and confirms that fame and stardom did not increase her loneliness or distance from her family and friends, and indicates that she considers every setback in her life that she did or was exposed to as a lesson to learn from in her life.
The Lebanese artist indicates that her heart has not closed towards love and is always open, but currently there is no one in her life, saying: “The most important qualities I want in my life partner are honesty, trustworthiness, respect and exchanging the same feeling of love.”
And about her thinking about the step of retirement, Hayek replied: “I am not currently thinking about that step, but if I find that I am not able at a specific time to give my effort to art, I will reconsider that step, and it must be recognized that art takes time and attention until it reaches the desired position.” Therefore, a balance must be struck between personal life and art.
Hayek concluded her speech by calling for the activation of a law regarding Lebanese women to allow them to grant citizenship to our children, and I believe this is one of their rights.
