After Dagbladet’s revelation: – Breeds:

Dagbladet revealed Thursday that Kuben school in Oslo did not get hold of the Education Agency for many hours after one of their students had been stabbed. The emergency telephone was not answered either.

Police are now treating the stabbing as an attempted murder.

The school also received no offer of crisis help when school director Marte Gerhardsen contacted them by e-mail six hours after the crisis occurred, Dagbladet could also tell.

Despite this, Gerhardsen told the city council two days later that there had been very good communication between her agency and the school.

Gerhardsen regretted that she gave incorrect information to the city council when Dagbladet confronted her with the case.

– No trust

Dagbladet has for a long time revealed a number of matters worthy of criticism in the Oslo school and the city council service for education in Oslo.

Now the cup is full for Frp. Aina Stenersen (Frp) says that her party has lost all confidence in Gerhardsen.

– I myself sat in the committee meeting on Wednesday in the Culture and Education Agency when the director explained the situation at Kuben school. We believe that there are several cases where the director of the Education Agency almost misleads the committee and the city council, so we no longer have confidence in education director Marte Gerhardsen, Stenersen tells Dagbladet.

Assess your own position

It is not the city council that hires agency directors like Gerhardsen, but Aina Stenersen now asks the school director to consider her own position.

That is the strongest signal she can get.

– This is unacceptable, and testifies to a director who is not able to lead the agency and the Oslo school, and does not have control over the situation with increased violence and threats in the Oslo school. It is not the city council that employs in the agencies, but we ask that Gerhardsen now assesses his position, says the FRP top to Dagbladet.

Marte Gerhardsen regretted on Thursday that she did not provide correct information about the dialogue during the knife crisis.

– When I was on the city council, I was not aware that it had taken so long for the school to get in touch with us. I apologize for that, says Gerhardsen to Dagbladet.

– Very serious

Hallstein Bjercke in the Liberal Party is also critical of the school director’s handling of the stabbing at Kuben and the information she gave to the city council.

– It is the city council I relate to, but I use these words: that the city council can not trust information from the agency’s director is very serious and something the city council should address quickly. This is not the first time this has happened, Bjercke tells Dagbladet.

Oslo school in trouble

The Oslo school has been in bad weather after Dagbladet’s revelations about wage party, consulting use and frequent hiring of new directors on million salary.

Dagbladet recently mentioned the information Thorkildsen gave the city council when a proposal was made to give an apology to the abused teacher Clemens Saers. Thorkildsen told the city council that they had tried to reach an “amicable solution” with Saers, but that he had rejected it.

Recently, Dagbladet reveal that Gerhardsen used SMS to try to move all Oslo students in upper secondary school to the vaccine queue.
