A sweet summer atmosphere floats in the air at the Bela Basque campsite in Anglet. A child jumps into the turquoise blue swimming pool, under the watchful eye of his mother who tries to take advantage of the shy sun, this July afternoon. Next to blossoming magnolias, shirtless teens are barbecuing sausages. In front of them pass families walking to their bungalows. Not so long ago, the Angloy branch of Bela Basque survived thanks to construction workers and a few families who had come to confine themselves to the site. This summer, tourists are expected to storm the campsite soon.
