The goal is to remind us all of the dangers of TB, more specifically to accelerate the elimination of TB in various countries.

In Indonesia itself, the commemoration of World Tuberculosis Day (HTBS) is themed “Invest for TB Elimination, Save the Nation”.
From this theme we understand that the stakeholders involved in eliminating are not only from the government, but all parties including the private sector, NGOs, communities and other parties. And means that, when we tackle TB, we are actually investing.
Regarding TB, which is commemorated every March 24, until now Indonesia is still a country with a burden tuberculosis disease (TB) is the third largest in the world after China, with an estimated 824,000 cases with 13,110 deaths and only 47% of reported cases (Global TB Report 2021, WHO).
It should also be realized, TB is also the biggest cause of complications in people with HIV with 18,000 cases of people suffering from TB-HIV.
