The municipal council met on October 15 under the chairmanship of Sylvie Roux, mayor. The following decisions were made.

Bad weather on July 20 and August 14: the mayor read out the various invoices already paid, corresponding to emergency work, such as the rehabilitation of rue d’Hachet (for €8,329.07 including tax) and the sweeping of the streets in Sarcicourt, covered with various waste (for €325.22 including tax). The Agglomeration of Chaumont, which has the Sanitation competence, paid €2,164.60 including tax for cleaning the networks.

In terms of repairing damaged streets and paths in the three villages, the estimate amounted to €73,243.02 including tax.

A meeting at the initiative of the prefecture concerning the maintenance of waterways will take place soon. Several elected officials will attend.

Financial affairs: the municipal council was called upon to decide on the adoption of the single financial account (CFU) in advance (compulsory from January 1, 2026). The objectives of the CFU are to promote the transparency and readability of financial information, to improve the quality of the accounts and above all to simplify the administrative processes between the authorizing officer and the accountant, without calling into question their respective prerogatives. There will only be one document, the CFU replacing the administrative account and the management account. Elected officials adopted the CFU as of January 1, 2025 for the 2024 financial year.

Events for the benefit of the Municipal Social Action Center (CCAS): a lottery on Sunday November 10 in the afternoon and a fair for games and toys, books and comics for children on December 8 will be organized. The seniors’ meal will take place on Sunday, December 1st.

Feasibility study of a photovoltaic park: a representative of the Ventelys company came at the end of the session to present to elected officials its agrivoltaic project as part of agricultural diversification. After presenting the different phases, elected officials authorized the company to carry out a feasibility study with a view to establishing photovoltaic parks and to submit the declarations, authorizations and requests for lifting of easements necessary for the study.
