Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, offering condolences for the earthquake victims.

Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesperson for Egypt’s presidency, stated that the Egyptian president offered his condolences and sympathy to the victims of the horrific earthquake, which resulted in thousands of victims and wounded, stressing Egypt’s solidarity with the brotherly Turkish people, and providing humanitarian assistance and relief to overcome the effects of this disaster.

For his part, the Turkish President thanked the President for these good feelings, pointing out that they confirm the depth of the historical ties that unite the two brotherly Egyptian and Turkish peoples.

On Tuesday, the Egyptian President made a phone call to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to offer condolences for the earthquake victims.

The official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President Al-Sisi expressed, during the phone call, his sincere condolences for the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred yesterday, and his wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

During the call, Al-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s solidarity with Syria and its people in this painful calamity, indicating that he directed his government to provide all possible aid and relief assistance in this regard to Syria.
