After appointing a judicial guard for the Hawthorn project… here is what Carol Murr did!

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Zaarour Country Club Company, Carole Gabriel Murr, submitted her resignation from her position, provided that she retains her membership in the Board of Directors, and she considered the letter of resignation to be final and irrevocable as of its date.

This resignation decision came against the backdrop of the appointment of a judicial guardian for the project after accusations of embezzlement, mismanagement, negligence, and investigation.

On January 7, Lebanon Debate published news about the judicial decision issued by the discriminatory Public Prosecution, which ruled that a judicial guard be appointed over the three companies that manage the Al-Zarour tourism project.

The website mentioned in its news special information about the judicial decision, as Messrs. Michel Murr and Carl Murr filed a criminal lawsuit several months ago, through their agent, lawyer Mark Habqa, against Carole and Jihad Gabriel Murr, against the backdrop of embezzlement and mismanagement in the Al-Zaarour tourism project.

After the experts appointed by the judiciary submitted several reports, they confirmed that there were gaps in the accounts relating to this project. Carole Gabriel Murr was suspended, removed from her administrative duties, and two judicial guards were appointed to carry out her duties.
