The Egyptian authorities arrested a girl who was recently known as the “Abaya Girl” on social media, specifically the “Tik Tok” application.

The authorities were able to seize a girl named Basma Samir Ibrahim, known as “Warda”, who owns an account on the “Tik Tok” application under the name “Basma Hijazi”, in which she presents controversial and inflammatory content, accompanied by another blogger named Muhammad Hussam, who is known as “Basah”.

It turned out that the girl resides in Alexandria and presents her videos from several streets in Muharram Bey.
The State Security Prosecution ordered the detention of the girl and her partner for 15 days pending investigations on charges of spreading false news and joining a terrorist group.
Basma Hijazi became famous after several acting videos in which she threatened young people in the streets, visited a young man in prison, and was dubbed “Miss Slums”.
She used to work as a “makeup artist”, owns a beauty shop, and previously presented educational beauty videos for girls, and she also appeared in several scenes on “Tik Tok”, providing guidance to women.
