Benfica made official through the Annual Report and Accounts the amounts included with the sales of Franco Cervi, to Celta d Vigo, Nuno Tavares, to Arsenal, and Pedrinho, to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Thus, Cervi immediately earned, according to the Annual Report, 4.5 million euros, with a further 1.5 million euros being planned, depending on the objectives and may increase the amount of the transfer to a maximum of six million. Additionally, Benfica has set aside 20 percent of a future capital gain.
Nuno Tavares, on the other hand, netted Benfica €8m for the move to Arsena, while Pedrinho earned €18m for the move to Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Annual Report also mentions that at the end of last season Benfica received an additional 3.6 million euros from the transfer of Ruben Dias, for the achievement of several previously contracted goals, which raised the amount allocated with the sale of the central to a total 71.6 million euros.
Raul de Tomás also earned another million euros, due to achieved goals.
Benfica also reports that the loans of Carlos Vinicius to Tottenham and Florentino to Monaco yielded three million and 1.5 million euros, respectively, these values being included in the exercise for the last season.
