After a wage proposal of 1,800 euros per day: what does a Bel…

The salary proposal of FNG CEO Paul Lembrechts was 1,800 euros per day, plus bonuses.

A salary of 1,800 euros per day worked. That was stated in the salary proposal from Paul Lembrechts for his CEO position at the ailing retail group FNG, the former parent company of the bankrupt shoe chain Brantano. 92.5 percent of the shareholders voted against on Wednesday, so the former VRT CEO promptly submitted his resignation. Is Lembrechts’ proposal so exaggerated? What do our Belgian CEOs earn? And how is a salary for such a top position actually calculated?
