After a traffic accident with injury: A search call from the Salzburg police

Below is a search call from the Salzburg police after a traffic accident with injuries on Hallwanger Landesstraße.

FLACHGAU. On September 30th at around 11:16 a.m., a 20-year-old motorcycle driving student from Salzburg was taking a driving lesson on the Hallwang state road towards Hallwang. The Salzburg police informed about this in a press release on October 2, 2024. According to the police, a black car came towards the Salzburg woman in the first sharp left turn to Elixhausen. According to the 20-year-old’s statements to the police, the driver of the car drove her vehicle across the middle of the road to the other side of the road. The Salzburg woman therefore swerved, left the road and fell on the embankment. The driver of the car is said to have continued towards Elixhausen without stopping.

The driving instructor in front turned his motorcycle around shortly afterwards when he noticed that the student driver was no longer following him. He drove to the scene of the accident and immediately set the rescue chain in motion. According to the police, the 20-year-old suffered serious injuries as a result of the fall and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Based on the police’s investigations so far, it is likely – according to the police – that the vehicle, which is said to have driven from Hallwang Tiefenbach towards Elixhausen at the time in question, is a black VW Golf 7 or a black Alfa Romeo 147 .

The police ask anyone who can provide information about the accident or the driver of the car in question to contact the Eugendorf police station on 059 133 – 5113 or any other police station.
