The leader of the group, V. Dagys, would later claim that he was dealing with drugs for the first time and at first did not even know what kind of story he was getting himself into.
“In the spring, a Russian approached me, asked me to protect his truck with a trailer. I’ve known that Russian for 10 years, I knew he was doing something with cigarette smuggling,” she said.
“They offered me 10 thousand euros. It was a lot of money then, I took a risk,” the leader of the drug mafia tried to minimize his role in this story.
After some time, V. Dagys received a new request from a Muscovite: he wants to buy a semi-trailer for smuggling, to evaluate the condition and the cache installed there.
“Maybe a month and a half has passed, it was already August, 30 degrees. I received a message from a Russian, he asked me to park the trailer somewhere under the roof, to hide it from direct sunlight,” said V. Dagys.
