A drunk and drug addict man skids his car on a beach in Burgas. On September 15, around 9:40 pm, in the Sea Garden area, the police officers of the V Regional Office issued a sound and light signal to stop a car with a noisy license plate, approaching along the promenade in the direction of the bridge. The driver did not comply, police said.

The 29-year-old from Shumen’s run with the police continues for over a kilometer along the coastal pedestrian promenade. Reaching the locked gate on the way to the marine station, the man turns around in the bushes and walks along the beach.

The long race with the 29-year-old car driver ended on the beach, where the tires slipped and he was forced to stop. The driver locked himself in the car and refused to get out. After a while he changed his mind and turned himself in to the police. Handcuffs had to be used.

“Due to his inappropriate behavior, with the assistance of the Traffic Police, he was subjected to tests for alcohol and drugs. The alcohol test was negative, but the drug test by technical means that was carried out highlighted the presence of amphetamines and methamphetamines “, explained Zivko Enev, responsible. The driver was detained for a period of 24 hours, the vehicle’s license plates were removed and a swift police investigation was initiated.

It turns out that the man arrested has several convictions for violating the road traffic law.
