The flu figures have been fluctuating around the threshold for an epidemic for some time. Over the past two weeks, however, the number of patients who have gone to their GP with a confirmed flu infection has remained below the epidemic threshold. “We can therefore conclude that the flu season is officially over,” says epidemiologist Nathalie Bossuyt van Sciensano.
